Story of a song Before listening to this song, drag your cursor below to stop the current music which is playing from my blog. After which you all may click play to the above music player to listen to this music and read the story. (best to be listened with earpiece on) The song you are playing and listening to now called "Longing Tears". A story of a newly married couple being separated during a disastrous war time, the wife's husband was called to fight the war. Through years of waiting, finally the war ended, only to hear that her husband was killed during the war. When the wife acknowlegded her husband's body, she found a wedding ring held in her husband's hand tightly still refusing to let go. Tears just began to shed... This song was done by one of my friend, she had this story in her mind and she created this song. From the beginning of this song, we heard the sound of the gong, giving a very eerie feeling, this part represents funeral of the dead husband. Beating of the drum symbolised the desperate crying of the wife. As xiao (an instrument) began to blow, it reflected the past of everything.. Sadness, sorrow and sorrow.. erhu accompanied, creating a picture of war times and terrible living conditioning of the people. As we listen on, the music gets more intense, listen with your heart and think of anything and everything you want to think, just relax and flow with the music. To me, it is an excellent piece! some of the main instruments in this song are, qudi I and II,Xiao, ErHu, GaoYinRuan, Cello, Double Bass, Strings, Piano, Koto, bells, cymbals, gong, timpani, tambourine, wOoDblock and effects..
