Be it or not, Be it Last night, or should i say, just now, i slept at about 3am in the morning. I was rushing and researching SoftWare engineering through the night just to prepare for my group's presentation. I was thinking to myself, since when on earth i become a leader of two projects (Software engineering and Java Enterprise)? well?.. Also i don't think that it is just the leader's job to research and throw the answers to his group members spoon feeding them. I doubt except for some, the rest would research and prepare for the meeting later on. In the end, i would still burn my brain cells and everything just to spoon feed marks to them. I am not being selfish here or what, it is just that i think in a group it is very unfair if the leader or someone of higher GPA should be the one doing extra jobs and then spoon feed information to them. I just don't like it when i have to stay till so late but the rest just wait for me to do the job. Lets hope, or i just pray that this time regardless of J2ee, Sweng and any other project, all members will work hard for it and treat every project seriously. Maybe not for the sake of themself but at least for the sake of their team members! Be it or not, be it, is saying, be it good, be it bad, be it anything i have to accept it. All i can do is to motivate. Or scold? Being leader isn't an easy task, i've got to see the different colors of facial expressions given by members of the team, and even hatred from them. I hope sometimes my remarks can make them understand rather than misunderstood. I pray that my team members and I, regardless of any team will be cooperative, and will produce excellent project throughout! |
